ACCESS CONDITIONS
Grand Studio is accessible to contemporary dance companies recognized by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. Companies supported and introduced by our partners may also gain access. No artistic selection is made.
There is no call for projects, nor any specific deadline for submitting an application.
The access conditions are objective and cumulative, and can be summarized as follows:
Company or choreographer recognized by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles;
Company active within the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, starting from the second project;
Must not benefit from a program contract exceeding €125,000;
Acceptance of the project’s operational terms.
Once mutual agreement on the collaboration is reached, a convention is signed outlining the framework of the joint work to be carried out.
Young choreographers are encouraged to approach other dedicated structures that are specifically designed for first projects or research-based work.
Grand Studio is a working tool subsidized by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, as part of its policy to support the production and dissemination of performing arts.
As for residency exchanges with Switzerland, they are made possible thanks to the support of Pro Helvetia.
Grand Studio is an independent non-profit organization subsidized by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles under a program contract.
